NCAA Indoor Track & Field Selections-WPI Men's Track & Field-2026

Men’s Track & Field’s Fleck and Mosher Earn Selections to 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships

NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship Selections - Gavin Fleck & Everett Mosher
Indianapolis, IN --- WPI Men's Track & Field seniors Gavin Fleck (Bend, OR) and Everett Mosher (Chester, VT) were selected to the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships next Friday-Saturday at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.

Fleck will be making his third-career appearance at the national meet in the pole vault after making trips to Virginia Beach for the indoor championships in 2024 followed by the outdoor championships later that spring in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The senior shares the fourth-highest mark at 16-7.5 (5.07m) in the event that he set at the Tufts 6-Way meet for the program record in early February and will return to the runway on Friday in the pole vault slated to start at 4:30pm eastern.

The pole vaulter reached the podium with a seventh-place finish at the 2024 Indoor Championship and later earned second-team All-America honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) after placing ninth at the Outdoor Championship in May 2024.

Making his first career trip to the national meet for track & field is senior standout Mosher in the mile event where he clocked the school record of 4:06.36 at the BU Valentine Invitational and is the fifth seed heading into the championship weekend. This has been a strong year for the senior as he also qualified for this fall for the NCAA Cross Country Championship after finishing eighth at the NCAA East Regional meet and fourth at the NEWMAC championship in his first season in that sport.

The mile prelims will take place on Friday at 3:50pm eastern and the finals will follow on Saturday at 5:10pm eastern.

WPI is led by Director of Cross Country and Track and Field Brian Chabot and Track and Field Head Coach Emily Dippel. The men's program tied fifth last week at the New England Division 3 Championships as Fleck earned the regional crown in the pole vault and Mosher earned All-New England honors in the 800m and served as the anchor in the title-clinching 4x800 relay.
