WORCESTER — WPI Women's Track & Field and Cross Country placed six standout Engineers on the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field/Cross Country College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced recently.

Julia Fronc (Plaistow, NH) were all recognized for their combined accomplishments in competition and in the classroom.
Brown secured her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District honor following another standout season for the Engineers. The Biomedical Engineering major owns a 3.97 GPA while emerging as one of the top 400-meter hurdlers in the region. Brown ranked third regionally and 39th nationally in the event with a career-best time of 1:03.11 and captured the 400-meter hurdle title at the Tufts Spring Stampede. She later earned bronze-medal finishes at both the NEWMAC Championships and New England Division III Championships. A vital contributor to both the track & field and cross country programs, Brown is an eight-time Dean's List honoree, a five-time All-NEWMAC Academic Team selection, and has participated in the program's Friendly House Food Drive.
Allmon collected her second consecutive CSC Academic All-District accolade after another strong year on the track. The Biomedical Engineering major maintains a perfect 4.00 GPA while ranking among the region's top competitors in the 400-meter hurdles. In addition to her success on the track, Allmon continued to balance a demanding academic workload while contributing as a member of WPI's women's soccer program, where she also earned CSC Academic All-District honors following the 2024 and 2025 seasons.
Reynolds also garnered her second straight CSC Academic All-District distinction. The Biomedical Engineering major carries a perfect 4.00 GPA and continued to lead WPI's distance corps throughout the cross country and track & field seasons. Reynolds ranked 15th in the region in the 10,000 meters with a 37:26.16 effort while also earning regional top-50 marks in the 5,000 meters, 3,000 meters and mile. Earlier this spring, she captured the 10,000-meter title at the Tufts Spring Stampede and posted one of the top performances in program history.
Embree earned her first CSC Academic All-District honor after compiling a perfect 4.00 GPA as a Biomedical Engineering major. The sophomore excelled in the combined events, ranking ninth in the region in the heptathlon with 3,708 points while also producing regional qualifying marks in the pentathlon and 100-meter hurdles. Embree joins Allmon as a dual-sport athlete on the women's soccer program.
Daly claimed her first CSC Academic All-District selection following a strong sophomore campaign. The Mechanical Engineering major boasts a 3.92 GPA and ranked 12th in the region in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a season-best 11:42.37. Daly additionally contributed to the Engineers' cross country lineup during the fall season.
Fronc rounded out the honorees with her first CSC Academic All-District recognition. The sophomore Biomedical Engineering major carries a 3.61 GPA and recorded regional top-50 performances in both the 100 and 400 meters. Fronc was also a member of WPI's USTFCCCA All-Region 4x400-meter relay and helped provide depth to the Engineers' sprint corps throughout the indoor and outdoor campaigns.
The 2026 Academic All-District Women's Track & Field/Cross Country teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the track, in the field, on the course, and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately honors women's track & field and cross country student-athletes in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and the NAIA.
Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. CSC Academic All-America teams for women's track & field and cross country will be announced later this summer.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially supported by the NCAA Division II and Division III governance structures to assist CSC with awards fulfillment for the 2025-26 academic year.
