WPI 148, Trinity 145
Hartford, CT --- WPI pulled off a close 148-145 victory
over host Trinity in men's swimming and diving action on
Saturday. With the win, WPI ups its record to 7-2 on the
season.
First place winners included Jeffery Meyer
(Denver, CO) in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:16.37), Craig
DiGiovanni (Glastonbury, CT) in the 100-yard butterfly
(58.73), Joel Rousseau (Pittsfield, MA) in the
100-yard backstroke (54.20) and 100-yard freestyle (49.19),
Chase Johnson (Eastham, MA) in the 200-yard
backstroke (2:09.43), and Dan White (Sidney, ME)
in the 200-yard (1:53.58) and 500-yard freestyles (5:08.96).
Men's Swimming and Diving travels to UMass-Dartmouth on Tuesday
for a meet beginning at 7pm.
