Annapolis, MD --- Four members of the WPI women's swimming and diving program participated in the ECAC Open Championships this past weekend at the U.S. Naval Academy, facing competition from many of the region's top Division I programs. 

Sarah Dinwoodie (East Greenwich, RI) finished 15th in the 200-yard backstroke, hitting the wall in 2:09.61 and qualifying for the B Finals. She also came through with an impressive 17th place performance in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.85). 

Nica Sylvia (Martha's Vineyard, MA) posted a 192.00 points in the 3-meter diving event, good for 13th place. 

Sonja Kent (West Boylston, MA) was 18th in the 400-yard IM (4:49.34) and 24th in the 200-yard butterfly (2:16.35), while Alana Aubin (Taunton, MA) was 33rd in the 100-yard butterfly (1:01.08) and 36th in the 100-yard freestyle (55.89).
