The time also sets the program's best mark overall as it surpasses Hall of Famer Alan Briggs' '76 time of 4:07 set in the outdoor event.
Shifting gears to Medford, Zachary Gates (Mattapoisett, MA) and Logan Lavimodiere (Cranston, RI) recorded marks of 10.55m and 13.26m respectively. Lavimodiere's final throw served as his best of the afternoon after besting his initial toss of 12.83m for the personal best.

WPI's foursome of Lauren Coutu (Baldwinville, MA), Caetlyn Embree (Sherborn, CT), Madisen McLeod (Ledyard, CT) and Emma Conway (Suffield, CT) all recorded NED3 provisional qualifying marks in the pentathlon.
