WORCESTER — WPI senior Everett Mosher (Chester, VT) added another prestigious accolade to an already remarkable 2025-26 campaign, earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Academic All-America Second Team honors, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Mosher becomes WPI's latest CSC Academic All-America selection after putting together one of the most accomplished seasons in program history. Earlier this summer, he was selected as Worcester Polytechnic Institute's nominee for the NEWMAC Men's Student-Athlete of the Year award after excelling both on the track and in the classroom.

His selection marks the 34th Academic All-America honor in WPI Track & Field and Cross Country history and the 113th overall selection in school history among 76 different student-athletes. 31 of the program's 34 honorees have come under the leadership of Director of Track & Field and Cross Country Brian Chabot.

The Civil Engineering major maintained a perfect 4.00 cumulative grade-point average while earning second team All-America honors in both the indoor mile and outdoor 1,500 meters. Mosher also became just the second student-athlete in WPI history to qualify for the NCAA Championships in cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field during the same academic year.

During the indoor season, Mosher anchored the Engineers' school-record 4x800-meter relay to the New England Division III championship before placing ninth nationally in the mile at the NCAA Division III Indoor Championships to earn second team All-America recognition. He followed with another standout outdoor campaign, earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 1,500 meters before finishing 16th nationally in the event to secure his second All-America honor of the academic year.

Beyond his athletic accomplishments, Mosher was recognized as the NEWMAC Laurels of Excellence recipient at the Cross Country conference championship.  Mosher was additionally named the NCAA Elite Scholar Athlete and received the Andrew Holt Memorial Award from WPI's Civil Engineering Department, recognizing academic excellence and professional promise within the discipline.

Earlier this month, Mosher also earned his second consecutive CSC Academic All-District selection before advancing to the national ballot. He is one of just 21 NCAA Division III men's track & field and cross country student-athletes selected to the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-America teams and one of only six representatives from New England.

The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes the nation's premier student-athletes for their combined achievements in competition and in the classroom. Student-athletes are first selected to the Academic All-District Team before advancing to a national ballot voted on by College Sports Communicators members. The 2025-26 NCAA Division III Academic All-America Team featured 36 student-athletes across the first, second and third teams.
