Marlboro, MA --- Sophomore Ethan Anderson (North Haven, CT) was named the 2025 New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Men's Field Athlete of the Meet, while the WPI men's track and field coaching staff earned NEWMAC Coaching Staff of the Year honors, as voted on by the six head coaches following the NEWMAC championship and announced by the conference on Friday.

Joining Anderson in major awards recognition was Ian Naff of Coast Guard who was tabbed as the NEWMAC Men's Track Athlete of the Meet and Scott Sloan of Wheaton who was named the NEWMAC Men's Rookie of the Meet.

Anderson delivered a dominant showing in the throws, racking up a meet-best 22 points among all field-event competitors.
